Each year UT Elementary provides at-risk children in East Austin a high-quality educational alternative that gives them many more opportunities to learn and grow and a better chance in life. Beyond that, we take what we’ve found in the classroom about how children learn best and show schools throughout the state how to teach children more effectively by demonstrating research and training teachers. This means that we are not only making the lives of the 260 students we see each day better, but we are also helping kids throughout the state of Texas receive a better education and a better chance in life.
