Fourth Grade
UT Elementary fourth-grade classes are taught by Rose Tran and Nefertiti Williams. In fourth grade, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) test also covers writing. There are many project-based lessons, with more incorporation of technology and applications such as e-mail, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. Students are encouraged to create book clubs and do book reports as well as explore extracurricular activities such as sports or cooking.
