Fifth Grade

UT Elementary fifth-grade classes are taught by Danielle Zibilksi and Linda Levine. Mrs. Zibilski teaches Math and Science, while Ms. Levine teaches Language Arts. Mary Ledbetter teaches social studies with Ms. Levine. In fifth grade, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) test covers science for the first time. Students are encouraged to participate in service-based projects. The fifth-grade class also begins to think about their next step in education, with applications for middle schools due in the middle of the fifth-grade year.
