Field Trip to the Ocean!
We are excited to announce our upcoming 5th grade field trip to the ocean! This field trip takes place March 30-31. Thanks to the generous donation of Mr. and Mrs. Lupton ~ who made our Outdoor School Field Trip possible ~ we are able to provide yet another incredible adventure for your children!
This coastal trip includes an overnight in the dormitories of The University of Texas Marine Institute. We depart on a charter bus from school on the morning on March 30. We then travel to Corpus Christi and an amazing guided tour of The Texas Aquarium. The fun does not end there, we continue with a short drive to Port Aransas. Once we arrive, we eat dinner, take a star-gazing walk along the beach, and spend the night in the secure dorms of The University of Texas Marine Institute.
The following morning the oceanic adventure continues. The day begins early and is packed with aquatic exploration. We will explore the wetlands and take a boat out into the calm waters of the Gulf to come in direct encounter with the ocean’s magnificent creatures. Students will observe wildlife and collect samples. This is a once in a lifetime experience that our students are so lucky to get. The field trip is fully paid for by Mr. and Mrs. Lupton!
