Curriculum Wheel

At UT Elementary, we use a scientific research base to help our students to best master the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Core curriculum includes reading and language arts, math, science, and social studies. Art, music, physical education and health, social and emotional learning, and Spanish language add rich texture to the core curriculum.

Technology skills are explicitly taught and integrated into instruction. In addition, UT Elementary ensures that engagement with both parents and the community is strong, to build a supportive environment for learning. Click on portions of the curriculum wheel for more information about each.
