Current Openings
UT Elementary is looking for a highly technically proficient educator who can assist teachers in their implementation of Promethean Boards and the accompanying ActivInspire software. Job duties include oversight of the school’s participation in a regional technology grant, data collection for monitoring outcomes, and, most importantly, continuous interaction with teachers to foster effective uses of the boards as tools for teaching and student activity.
Experience in elementary levels with ELLs a big plus.
Rate of pay dependent on experience and expertise. Duration of work: ASAP until the end of the grant cycle in August 2011

Substitute Teaching at UT Elementary School
To begin the process follow the instructions listed here:
Start by visiting the UT Human Resources website and completing the “Online Employment Application”. A UT EID is required. If you do not have a UT EID, you will need to click on “Get a UT EID” first, then complete the online application.
Next, call Frank Molina at 512-475-7277 (or the main line at 232-8367) at the UTemps Office. They will guide you through the next steps and inform us when you have completed the process. We will then give you a call to arrange a short interview and school visit. After that, if we are a good fit, you will be all set up.
